Description :Toxicology Manager Role Overview: Huntsman Corporation’s Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance Team is searching for an experienced Toxicology Manager. As a Toxicology Manager at Huntsman, you will lead a global, dynamic team of eight toxicologists, fostering a culture of innovation, sustainability, and excellence. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Environmental and Product Safety and serving as a key member of the Product Safety Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic direction and leadership. Apply today! Role Responsibilities: As a Toxicology Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading and inspiring the toxicology team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.Developing and implementing strategic business plans for the toxicology group, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.Cultivating strong relationships with the three business divisions, ensuring toxicology initiatives align with their specific needs and objectives. Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand division-specific requirements and integrate toxicology considerations into their product development and compliance strategies.Driving initiatives to identify and implement innovative toxicology methodologies and technologies, including participation in expert working groups such as CEFIC and ECETOCCollaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate toxicology considerations into product development and compliance strategies.Overseeing the training and development of the toxicology team, focusing on skill enhancement, and staying current with industry best practices.Ensuring scientifically evaluated and up-to-date data for product classification are maintained in appropriate databases.Experience and Competencies: We are looking for experienced candidates with excellent communication skills and a solution focused approach. What we are looking for: A minimum of a Master’s degree in Toxicology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or related field is required.At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of team development and management.Fluency in English is a mustProject Management Experience in leading and managing large-scale projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma) is advantageous.Board certification in toxicology (e.g., DABT - Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology) is preferred.Knowledge of global regulatory requirements related to toxicology and chemical safety, such as REACH, TSCA, and CLP/GHS.A strong background in research and methodology development, with a history of published work and contributions to the field.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex toxicological information to non-expert audiences.analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven record of innovative solutions in toxicology regulation.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Flexibility to adapt to changing industry trends and regulatory landscapes.What next?
