The role Location: Germany, Poland, UK, Spain, USA, Canada Job type: Remote, office work is optional Job Snapshot: We are looking for a Senior Global Product Manager – Software Innovation who will own the definition, delivery and go-to-market of solutions and services of the Global Application Development, Modernization and Developer Experience (CoE) reporting into the Director, Application Services function. With deep expertise in Application Development, Modernization, and DevEx practices, they innovate to meet customer needs, aligning with SoftwareOne's value proposition and collaborating with key teams. They identify and pursue partnership opportunities with strategic partners like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, shaping joint value propositions. Responsible for global training and sales enablement and strategy across 19 locations, they ensure effective marketing and sales execution, serving as a credible voice for SoftwareOne in software development and modernization spaces. Responsibilities: Product Design & Innovation: Drive the creation of repeatable software development, application modernization and developer experience consulting offerings, capitalizing on ongoing projects and partnerships with hyperscalers to package cutting-edge methodologies and solutions. Strategic Partnership Management: Accelerate the collaboration with hyperscaler partners, including the realization of joint DevEx and application modernization strategies, to ensure our offerings are at the cutting edge of technology and market needs. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with internal Centres of Excellence and service units to promote integration and synergy across our migration and modernization as well as AI initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach to solution development and delivery. Sales & Product Strategy: Define and implement sales and product strategies that align with our corporate goals, driving growth and market leadership in the Software Innovation space. Advanced Advisories: Grow Application Development, Application Modernization and Developer Experience services, employing our established methodology and delivery toolkit, while continuously refining our practices based on market trends and feedback. Sales Enablement & Thought Leadership: Steer sales enablement initiatives, providing expertise and knowledge transfer to enhance seller effectiveness. Establish yourself as a thought leader through contributions to industry consortia, participation in marketing activities, and presence at local and international events. What we need to see from you Passionate about Software Development: A history in the field of software development, application modernization and developer experience showing a consistent track record of education, experimentation and staying up-to-date in the space of relevant technologies and business scenarios. Strong understanding of cutting edge and legacy software development and modernization technologies and methodologies such as virtualization, containerization, orchestration, twelve-factor apps, microservices, serverless, monitoring, obsevability, DevOps practices, and cloud security to name a few Solid understanding of one or more of the Data & AI portfolios from Microsoft, AWS, Google and Databricks. Candidates with relevant technical certifications will be preferred. Extensive knowledge of standard product management methodologies such as Agile, Kanban and RAD and in service delivery model design and execution Experience of working in matrix organizational structures in or with Sales, Pre-Sales and Professional Services roles; Understading of their dynamics, tools, targets and motivations with a strong ability to collaborate A strong public speaker, demonstrating a credible history of on-stage and (social) media presence. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to take calculated risks and deal with change and uncertainty in a rapidly evolving environment.
