This includes providing subject matter expertise in Pension and ensures compliance with the Global Benefits Philosophy.This role will have the opportunity to work closely with many internal and external stakeholders that will have direct impact across the organization and will be seen as the subject matter expert on all things related to post-retirement benefits. The role will also handle Global Benefit projects assigned based on key organisational priorities.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop our pension plans strategy & governance to ensure it supports our workforce strategy and business needsMonitor developments and trends in Pensions, Gratuity, Provident Funds and other retirement plans, identify best practices, statutory changes, and gaps in statutory complianceEnsures compliance with pension and benefits requirements and all legal obligations, while continuously ensuring consistency and accuracy of our offeringsCollaborate with Finance and other teams to determine plan liabilities by providing the plan design, assumptions that may be required. Understands the costing of the plans and works closely with Finance on budgetingReview Benefit calculations and trust instructions where applicable and collaborate with HR Services teams to ensure that the right plans and values are captured in the WorkdayProvide strategic/operational guidance for the ongoing administration of our pension plans including developing our future pension operating model by identifying and implementing improvements to internal processes and proceduresProvide expert advice on setting up/revising country plans and leading key projects such as the implementation of auto-enrolment, M&A and new market entry in conjunction with relevant stakeholdersKeep abreast of legislative changes and monitor in country market practices and trends to ensure plans remain market competitiveWork with internal (including pension committees) and external stakeholders to ensure pension plans are compliant with corporate governance, regulatory requirements and best practice to minimize any associated risks to the businessManage third party providers/advisers including contract management/ performance metrics to ensure appropriate service levels are deliveredSupport country risk insurance renewals and new plan implementations as appropriateMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPI) to evaluate areas for improved efficiency and to provide tending data, exceptions to policy etcDevelop and lead the design of communications and education to support key strategic initiatives such as raising the awareness of our pension schemes and employee financial wellbeingLead and participate in other assigned Global Benefits projectsCollaborate with Finance and a Global and Local level on the costing and overall budgeting of our benefit plans across the globeQualificationsProven years of experience preferred in a similar role with experience of managing pensions plans in multiple countriesIdeally have appropriate qualifications such as the Pensions Management Institute or demonstrable technical knowledge within pensions, regulations and compliance across multiple countriesStrong analytical skills and global benefits budgeting backgroundRelationship builder with excellent communication and influencing skillsStrong commercial awareness and experience working with senior stakeholdersSelf-starter with strong project management capabilityKnowledge and experience with PowerBi is an assetEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing .Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
