The opportunity Finance role within Planning, Budgeting and Financial Analysis (PBFA) team to support globally one EY Service Line - Consulting. As a Global Consulting Finance Manager, you will perform in a role that serves as a business partner and advisor to key business and finance leaders, including Global Consulting Service line leadership and Global Consulting CFO. This role provides critical thinking, analysis, and insights on the financial performance, with a strong focus on the forward view and predictability of the business. Your key responsibilities Deliver financial analysis and modeling to support business planning, operational decision-making, and financial outlook for Global, Area, and Sub-Service Line leadership. Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting for respective business, adding insights, financial analysis and commentary. Maintain a robust month-end analysis, and ensure commentaries are timely, insightful and action oriented. Serve as the point-of-contact for financial and operational queries and issues; function as a reliable business advisor. Analyze and present complex financial data in an accessible and comprehensible format. Pro-actively suggest ways to solve problems, propose solutions, and maintain the quality of presentations. Develop and support the delivery of presentations that engage audiences, responding to questions and concerns arising. Respond to ad hoc financial inquiries from the Leadership, providing insightful information. Ability to model projections, identify trends and issues that need to be analyzed and understood. Help to implement Consulting strategic and operational goals. Supporting planning activities and formulating observations and insights based on the submitted results. Assist in financial modeling scenarios for leadership, suggesting solutions within a range of options. Collaborate with Markets Finance, Area, and Sub-Service Line leadership. Mentor and coach PBFA professionals in the team when needed, promoting the growth of the team's Trusted Business Advisor competencies. Skills and attributes for success Graduate and/or professional certification in a business related subject matter ( Finance, Analytics) A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Preserving a profound understanding of corporate financial management, majoring in financial analysis and planning. Strong interpersonal skills - can work alongside and gain the trust and respect of stakeholders at all levels of seniority. Showcasing credibility and self-assurance to propose improvements and harmonize varying interests and priorities. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal; excellent presentation and client advisory skill. Flexibility for limited travel. Strong spoken and written English. To qualify for the role, you must have Strong technical skills with the ability to analyze problems, design and implement solutions independently. Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills - Pivot, VLOOKUP’s and ability to manipulate and draw trends from vast amounts of data. Power BI and/or other data visualization tool experience to support ad hoc analysis and build regular reports will be an advantage. Highly team oriented approach, with a deep sense of responsibility and flexibility regarding tasks undertaken, and the ability to prioritize a number of conflicting demands to meet exacting deadlines.
