This role can be done in hybrid model. YOUR ROLE:Are you a dynamic and experienced professional ready to make a significant impact in the world of logistics sourcing?  We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Sourcing Manager to join our Logistics Sourcing team! We're seeking an individual who will play a pivotal role in implementing this strategy within the US and Canada. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be a vital link between internal stakeholder groups, Procurement, and external suppliers. Your primary focus will be on leading sourcing initiatives within the Logistics category, collaborating with global Operations category teams and supporting our sites' sourcing requirements. Your accountability extends to understanding key business drivers and ensuring stakeholder needs are met.You should be experienced in extensive cross-functional collaboration and use of strategic sourcing best practices to maximize value in terms of cost savings/avoidance, demand management, risk reduction, quality and performance, and supplier market innovation. The role holder conducts spend and market analyses, identifies opportunities, develops category strategies, leads cross-functional sourcing teams. You will be mainly responsible for general project management, supplier selection and negotiations, supplier performance management, market analysis, cost optimization, contract management and risk management, compliance and continuous improvement. You will constantly enable and improve the overall process performance. Proposing improvements regarding processes, systems, and work of the team plus active support while implementing those solutions. WHO YOU ARE:Global and Intercultural Experience: You bring a minimum of 6 years of global and intercultural professional experience in procurement, specifically for complex logistics projects and/or supply chain roles, so you can bring your experience in negotiating contracts and managing key supplier relationships. Logistics Expertise in the US and Canada Markets: Your strong logistics background in/for the US and Canada markets is a key asset. Given the nature of this role, you'll be adept at working with consideration to time differences across various zones.Procurement Knowledge: You possess a well-founded understanding of logistics sourcing-related topics and services, including transport carriers, logistics business models (2PL, 3PL, 4PL), warehouse management, etc. Experience with Procurement tools, such as SAP Ariba, and proficiency in the RfX process and related tools are crucial.Data Management and Evaluation: Professional skills in MS Office, especially Excel, with a focus on big data management and complex evaluation models.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, at least at a C1 level, and preferably C2.Communication and Change Management: Strong communication and change management skills, coupled with a high client focus.
