Crisis Response Program Manager [REMOTE] | [HALF-TIME, POTENTIAL TO FULL-TIME] We are dedicated to leveraging technology to make a significant impact on global humanitarian efforts. Our new initiative focuses on building digital preparedness among local aid responders, creating a global network of humanitarian organizations equipped with the technology needed to respond to crises effectively. Your Role As the Program Manager for our Crisis Response Program, you will play a crucial role in testing and developing our pilot into a full-scale initiative. You will be at the forefront of enhancing digital preparedness for crises by working closely with local aid organizations, technology partners, and donors. This half-time position, with the potential to become full-time, offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of humanitarian aid. Responsibilities Pilot test the program's assumptions in the Middle East region, analyzing results to inform future scaling. Drive the program's development with an entrepreneurial approach, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation. Foster and maintain relationships with a network of donors and partners, securing support for program expansion. Lead and manage a diverse, interdisciplinary team of part-time members, ensuring project milestones and objectives are met. Collaborate with technology experts and humanitarian organizations to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of crisis response. Skills & Experience A strong entrepreneurial spirit, evidenced by experience in launching initiatives or leading informal movements. Solid understanding of software development and implementation, with hands-on experience in tech projects. A keen interest in the humanitarian sector, with an emphasis on innovative approaches to localize aid. Proficient in English, with excellent communication skills to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders. Nice to Have Previous experience in managing programs within the humanitarian sector. Multilingual capabilities, especially in Arabic, Spanish, or French, to communicate effectively with our global network.
