Job Description As the Procurement Market Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage a cross-functional procurement team while overseeing all procurement activities and staffing.You will be responsible for setting targets and goals and ensuring project completion. Your primary focus is to achieve solutions that support regional and country growth, improve stakeholder satisfaction, and reduce costs. To do this, you will need to translate customer requirements and implement country/regional procurement strategies while optimizing processes and business practices.The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong background in procurement, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering results.Time zone flexibility will be required as you will collaborate with a diverse and dynamic team spread across different time zones.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Regional Procurement Lead to devise country-specific procurement strategies, goals, and initiatives that align with organizational objectives.Establish clear targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the cross-functional procurement teams and ensure they are met or exceeded.Develop and execute procurement strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the procurement procedures across the Group, with a focus on driving cost savings, green purchasing, improving efficiency, and enhancing supplier performance.Monitor the day-to-day activities of local procurement operations and ensure that all projects in the business pipeline are assigned to the procurement team.Provide expert guidance to team members to ensure they have a clear understanding of business needs, manage procurement activities, commercial negotiations, and ensure value-for-money for all purchases.Lead specific RFP/RFI/RFQ projects as required.Provide leadership and guidance and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture for the Local Procurement functional teams.Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, particularly those related to anti-corruption and ethical business practices.Drive continuous process improvements through the implementation of procurement technologies and streamlining procurement processes using best practices.Foster clear and effective communication with Local and regional partners and internal teams, meet stakeholder expectations and efficiently resolve operational challenges.Establish clear objectives and targets for team members, provide feedback, and regularly monitor and conduct performance reviews.Mentor and develop team members, identifying training needs and providing opportunities for professional growth.Recruit new employees, including developing job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.Proactively identify innovation and cost savings opportunities by staying up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies.Onboard and train new employees, ensuring they become familiar with their new roles and responsibilities and the company's culture and policies.Manage employee relations, including the Bradford Factor, addressing employee concerns, resolving disputes, and maintaining a positive work environment.Prepare and present regular reports, performance metrics, and analyses to the Global Head of Procurement & Regional Procurement Lead as required.QualificationsProfessional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) are a plus.Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, focusing on strategic procurement and team leadership.Having experience in handling contracts in IT, Professional Services, Travel or Production (Media) is considered an advantage.Strong knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and market trends.Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team, set objectives, and drive performance.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proactive and results-oriented, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets and KPIs.Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements related to procurement activities.Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.Completely literate in the English & French languages
