This role will not rely only on digital - training will be in-store and involve travel. The role Reporting to the President of Africa, UK and Europe, the Regional Training Manager adapts and deploys the Lovisa L&D vision in the European markets making sure a strong L&D culture is understood and implemented at all levels.  This role will be responsible for ensuring the L&D contributes to, and influences, improved retail performance at Lovisa at an individual, team and organisational level.  To support in the development and execution of the Learning and Development Strategies, programs and content, driving a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement across our business. Retail Learning and Development roadmap execution for the French-speaking regions to help improve efficiencies, customer service and KPIs Lead, develop, implement and monitor retail initiatives and projects that help improve visual merchandising, store performance and customer service and ensuring the ‘Lovisa way’ in the Region Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training courses taken by employees Revise and streamline the current HQ L&D content and adapt them to local markets. Maintenance of training content, courses and conferences used for learning, and communication. Create Lovisa community to motivate staff and communication, to ensure focused, aligned team, individual performance and establishing the ‘Lovisa way’ in the Region Identify training needs and opportunities for the expansion of talent development within the Region Develops effective training programs for Retail Members at all levels Champion new markets, ensuring standards and training with content creation and delivery in the markets, program management and reporting Develops and updates standardized tools and translations for the new markets learning programs Creation and delivery of Succession planning programs in partnership with the Retail Operations teams. Leads the succession and career planning activities which groom the next generation of store leaders and prepares a strong talent pipeline and bench throughout the organization from sales associate level upward. Serves as a mentor to high potential store leaders as well as a coach and advisor to the store teams To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in retail operations Proven ability to multi-site manage in a fast paced, high volume environment Demonstrated understanding of Customer experience and continually improving this to achieve results Experience in partnering with and developing working relationships across functional teams Experience in implementing process improvements and efficiencies Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the markets. Managerial courage and perseverance to handle challenges Ability to establish the roadmap, motivate and inspire a team to action Effective team builder with passion for developing others Strong oral and written communication skills Flexibility and desire to travel Internationally based on the needs of the business Skills, knowledge and personal qualities required: Personable, approachable and a great coach.
