We collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accounting operations and business decisions are compliant with IFRS and local GAAP regulations. The mission of our Team is to provide valuable insight and reliable financial information for the internal and external stakeholders. Our Team’s capabilities are gathered for the years of experience within areas of Revenue, GL, Inventory, Tax, Statutory Accounting and External Audit. The role Every person on our team plays a unique and important role. In your role as Finance Controller EMEA you will hold responsibility for preparation and submission of Financial Statement and ensure Ensure compliance with IFRS/Hitachi Accounting Policies on the Group reporting level. But not only in this role you’ll prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statement Analytics based on IFRS monthly/quarterly and you’ll cooperate with other functions such as GFSS, FP&A, treasury, facilities, legal, tax and HR.With your deep financial knowledge and the ability to communicate with different stakeholders, you’ll provide the right support and will ensure the right efficiency and compliance in Accounting What you'll bringAt least 5 years experience in similar rolesAbility to take decisions, identify problems and proactively come up with solutionsWorking knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP (where relevant) and SOXAccounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA) will be your additional assetExceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with business senseAn ability to work under pressure, manage expectations and meet deadlinesFluent level o English; French and/or Spanish good knowledge could be an advantageExcellent business acumen and judgment and demonstrated ability to work closely and build sustainable business partnerships with Finance & other global functions.#LI-DB1Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are integral to our culture and identity.
