We directly influence business strategy by leveraging deep consumer, retailer, and market understanding, encompassing human insights as well as data science.As a Category Growth Manager, you will be responsible for leading consumer understanding and uncovering insights that drive business decisions and shape brand strategies. With your profound understanding of consumers, coupled with your passion for human psychology, behavioral science, and data analysis, you will be at the forefront of solving complex business challenges and serving as a strategic consultant to P&G's leadership.Key Responsibilities:1.Consumer Insight Work: Defining consumer profiles using personas/archetypes, JTBD frameworks, journey maps, and other effective frameworks. You will foster consumer empathy across the organization through continuous engagement with consumers, helping to develop the skills and confidence of the entire team. You will synthesize diverse inputs and train the organization to translate abstract insights into concrete strategies and offerings.Communicating consumer needs, principles, and designs through artifacts, presentations, and prototypes will also be part of your responsibilities. Creating internal training and development programs to empower the business to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in exploring and understanding consumers' experiences and unmet needs.2.Analytics: Your role will involve delivering insights using various techniques. For example, you will enable teams to assess the business potential of new ideas and successfully launch initiatives. You will also quantify key business drivers and evaluate the sufficiency of plans to meet targets based on your models. Furthermore, you will combine consumer insights with data in a visually appealing and intuitive manner to provide comprehensive and compelling business recommendations.Job QualificationsSkills/Qualifications - You are the right person for the job if:Academic Background: You hold a BSc or MSc degree in fields such as Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Sciences, Quantitative Social Science, Quantitative Methods/Statistics, Human-Centered Design, or a similar field. A Ph.D. is considered a plus.Proven Work Experience: We seek candidates with 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in one of the following areas: FMCG business, eCommerce, digital agency, analytics, or research companies.Profile: You are a passionate and curious researcher with strong observational and analytical skills, along with a problem-solving mindset.Ability to Deliver Insights: You can provide well-founded, genuine insights and strategic recommendations aligned with defined business objectives.Methodologies: You have experience with a variety of research methodologies, including qualitative techniques such as ethnography, consumer journeys, online consumer panels, IDIs (in-depth interviews), JTBD (Jobs-to-be-Done), and metaphor elicitation. Additionally, you possess knowledge and application of quantitative research methods, such as idea testing, implicit testing, and basic statistics.
