The Position As our Sr. Medical Manager RareD, you will be responsible for the development of medical strategy and execution of key medical tactics for the Theraputical area at BA level. You will be providing the Business Area Office Medical assessment and feedback to product development plans and trial outlines, to ensure these closely address Business Area (BA) needs for RareD. You will need to collaborate closely with MAPA (Market Access, Public Affairs) teams to analyse gaps and opportunities for real world evidence/Phase 4 studies, to develop study proposals and manage Business Area studies; to provide scientific input to cross-functional activities and take part in activities to enhance Medical Affairs' performance in Business Area. Your main accountabilities across the RareD portfolio will include: Driving Business Area RareD medical strategy and implementation and serve as a bridge between BA and affiliates to ensure full alignment in global & regional medical strategies. Development and execution of tactical plans/activities contributing to the success of our products, within medical focus areas (KOL engagement, clinical activities, publication planning, medical education, medical guidance). Act as the RareD subject matter expert in BA and update medical knowledge across the functions, review affiliates/operations’ medical plans and support medical colleagues for the execution of medical tactics in key focus areas. Support launch excellence and pre-launch medical activities for effective launch readiness. Driving a Medical Excellence strategy implementation and its adaptation to a country/BA needs. In this role, you will be reporting to the Senior Director Clinical, Medical and Regulatory, BA-SEE. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you need to have an excellent analytical skills, strong ability to summarise complex information and highlight key points relevant for business needs and internal decisions. You also need to have strong communication and negotiating skills, strong compliance mindset and ability to work across geographic and cultural boundaries. To be effective in this role it is necessary to have: 8+ years’ work experience in Medical Affairs. Medical Doctor degree, Pharm Degree, or PhD in Life Sciences. Excellent command in English, both oral and written. Pharma background. RareD pharma company background is considered as an advantage. Solid experience with cross-functional teams and matrix organisations. High-level proficiency in project management. Experience with Global/European/business area office preferred but not mandatory. Customer centric mindset, focused on what matters and high performing. About the department Business Area South East Europe (BA-SEE) covers a region of 12 countries: Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Croatia, Albania, Slovenia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Moldovia. The location of the job is in our hub in Warsaw, Poland.
