Job Advert Details The secretariat is responsible for preparing the cases for submission to Reputational Risk Client Selection Committees (RRCSC) in consultation with relevant parties, submitting these to the regional RRCSC for decision-making, taking minutes at RRCSCs, circulating the approved minutes to relevant parties, and generating management information for governance reporting and audit purposes.RRCSC is responsible for implementing the Wholesale Banking Customer Selection and Exit Management (CSEM) policy in line with an agreed framework which is intended to ensure timely and auditable decision making that can effectively and efficiently manage risk and economic exits with clear governance, monitoring and escalation. On the exit management front, RRCSS works very closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) and product specialists, orchestrating key activities related to winding down client relationships.Principal Accountabilities of the role:Act as point of contact for reputational risk and client selection matters affecting Wholesale Banking (WSB) in Europe.Ensure WSB related reputational risks once identified are escalated and resolved in an appropriate and timely manner and tracked to exit.Co-ordinate frontline WSB teams and SMEs [ Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), Regulatory Compliance (RC), Sanctions, Tax, Global Liquidity and Cash Management (GLCM), Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) etc.], to produce comprehensive and actionable reputational risk assessments for consideration by RRCS Committees (RRCSCs).Liaise with RRCS secretariats in other regions and other lines of business to inform them about and resolve in collaboration with, cases that have a cross-regional or crossline of business impact.Prepare minutes for approval of the European WSB RRCSCs. Qualifications Professional experience in financial services professional with a working knowledge of managing financial crime risk and commercial client relationships.Experience in managing client relationships and/ or client risk and/ or Anti Money Laundering (AML)/ Know Your Customer (KYC) type roles.A high-level understanding of financial crime risk.Familiarity with the financial services products (Global Markets, Payments & Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade and Lending) Experience in working with various stakeholders to manage decisions process, appeals, and track execution phases of the Client Selection process. Experience in escalating decisions when and where appropriate.Banking or Financial Crime Compliance qualifications or willingness to work towards.Fluency in English, working knowledge of German is an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to be assertive, principled, pragmatic, and comfortable in communicating and making decisions alongside the very highest level of a global financial organisation.A commercial considerations of business relationships combined with the ability to manage risk effectively and thoroughly in those client relationships.Strong interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport and strong relationships across business areas and dispersed locations.The ability to set priorities, to meet challenging deadlines.
