The entire Finance Shared Service team (in Szczecin and Kuala Lumpur) consists of more than 70 professionals. To support further grow we are now looking for a GL & IC Manager.Join us to feel a great atmosphere created by specialists who carry out their daily tasks with full commitment and passion.You will support us with:Transforming and expanding local finance organization into Accounting & Reporting Team overall responsible for accounting and reporting of legal entities in the groupLeading transition of new processes into the shared service centerManaging financial activities during Month End, Year End and the budget processEnsuring timely, accurate and consistent financial reporting in compliance with both group and statutory accounting standardsManaging and revising workflow duties and direct inbound inquiries as neededEnsuring that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timelinessStandardizing procedures to generate efficiency in-house and create internal templates to be used by the companyActively driving internal initiatives aimed at continuous process improvement and realizing efficienciesSupporting key GL-related projects such as business integrations and system implementations/updatesDeveloping internal control procedures and provide up to date documentations (Work Instructions)Performance assessment, coaching, training and development of the team members to improve individual and overall team productivityWhat will support you to be successful in this role:5-10 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, preferably auditor backgroundMaster’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent accounting certificationPreferably 3 years of management experience, preferably in managing Team LeadsLeadership qualities and the ability to mentorDemonstrated experience and general knowledge of IFRSExtensive experience in managing financial transactional activitiesPrevious experience in migration of processes and/or system implementation preferredExperience of using enterprise systems preferred (e.g. IFS, SAP, Oracle)Excellent English skills required, written and verbal.
