Your tasks: What you can expect: The Application & Integration Services department within the WWK Group's IT division is responsible for defining, setting up and further developing our application landscape. We combine standard software from leading manufacturers with the development of our own solutions. We are looking for a committed and creative new manager to join our department on a long-term basis. Your tasks: You will lead our Sales & Portals team of 14 employees in a disciplinary and technical capacity You are responsible for the development and operation of our platforms, portals and quotation applications to support our sales department and for our software development process You align the development of your employees and the tasks of your group with the IT strategy in a technically and economically future-oriented manner You support and develop your employees in a targeted manner with regard to future IT requirements, cost-conscious action and their technical, methodological and social skills You will be involved in planning, determining and selecting personnel requirements, assessing performance and determining salaries You work closely and constructively with management colleagues in the IT groups and departments You communicate closely with those responsible in the specialist departments, IT and external partners You develop proposals to improve efficiency, productivity, flexibility and methodology Your competencies: You have successfully completed your studies in computer science or comparable training in the IT environment and have many years of professional experience, ideally in the design of sales or portal solutions You have experience and enjoy leading a motivated team with specialized employees and have already successfully proven this in your previous career Due to your high level of self-motivation as well as your assertiveness and strong communication skills, you act as a role model and achieve the best results with your team You are characterized by team spirit as well as solution-oriented, independent and structured work combined with a "we-can-do mentality" You know how to use feedback and criticism constructively and profitably in collaboration You act as a consultant and use your communication skills in our organizational structure in a target-oriented manner, with your previously acquired know-how you actively shape our IT landscape and our performance culture Resilience, reliability and creativity round off your profile We as an employer We - the WWK Insurance Group - are one of the most traditional and at the same time most innovative companies in the German insurance industry.
