This is what LifeAtBNYMellon is all about. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland on a hybrid basis.  Team & Function: The Compliance Data, Reporting and Analytics (CDRA) Team sits within Risk & Compliance Strategy Planning. The team’s focus is the centralization of data for all areas of Compliance by building out an innovative platform with dashboards that provide BNY Mellon’s leadership with actionable intelligence. Touching more than % of the world's investable assets, BNY Mellon has the scale to reimagine financial markets, and as a second line of defense function, CDRA has unfettered access to customer and transaction data. The work we do has the potential to impact markets at a global scale. Additionally, CDRA is a key collaborator with BNYM’s global Financial Crimes Compliance, a group responsible for the Firm wide Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Know Your Customer (KYC)/Customer Due diligence (CDD) and Economics Sanctions Compliance (collectively “FCC”) Program. The team provides oversight of the day-to-day and strategic implementation of the Firm’s enterprise-wide financial crime prevention efforts. This includes providing the appropriate governance, oversight and execution of the Firm’s FCC programs. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:  Elicit and document requirements from Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) stakeholders accountable for processes related to Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) regulations , Know Your Client (KYC), Transaction Monitoring, Investigations, and Sanctions, Present program-level updates at senior stakeholder meetings, Lead FCC data modelling and quantitative analysis projects including investigating and assessing customer, transaction, and compliance data to develop KPIs and models, Document the data transformation process including data workflow diagrams and entity relationship diagrams, Partner with the Engineering organization to communicate requirements and test Engineering-produced solutions, Establish partnerships with application owners, technology, and the business to obtain data and understand data limitations (, scope of data, attribute definitions, linkages to other datasets), Perform root cause analysis on data quality errors and propose remediation efforts, Partner with the broader BNYM data community to socialize and drive best practices with leading tools across our data supply chain , Alteryx, Power BI, Balsamiq, Figma, etc. To be successful in this role, we are seeking a candidate with the following required qualifications: Thorough understanding of BSA/AML and Financial Crimes Compliance-related regulation, and their implementation at banks , Excellent verbal and written English language skills, Advanced data querying and profiling abilities within the financial services industry, Occasional ability to work evenings as senior stakeholders are mostly based out of New York City or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience, Degree in math, engineering, statistics, computational finance, or economics preferred, + years of total, relevant work experience.  Preferred Qualifications: Competency with data querying, transformation, and dashboarding tools such as SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, etc., Competency with data governance tools (Collibra, IDQ), Experience with issue management systems (JIRA, Confluence), Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills, Program management skill preferred, including Agile project management, Familiar with logical data model, Experience using reference data and master data.
