OverviewThis role is responsible for leading Nutrition and Nuts categories across Europe Sector, through developing and executing a long term category strategy for Europe including but not restricted to Risk Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Innovation and Productivity.The role is also responsible for leading Ingredients and Seasonings scope in Turkey through 1 direct report based in Turkey; including key strategic localisation projects and relationship management with the supplier base located in Turkey.Business objectives will focus on year over year productivity, developing long term pipelines for compressible and Value Engineering opportunities, cost effective innovation to deliver PEP+ targets and portfolio transformation, business continuity planning, supply assurance, and supplier performance management to ensure best in class cost/quality/supply service levels.This role is the primary liaison between Finance, R&D, Marketing, and Legal for Europe Nutrition & Nuts procurement, and will be working very closely with CEGB/Turkey MSO as well as Senior Leaders in Turkey. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute category sourcing strategies over a multi-year horizon and ensure delivery of short term annual operation plan (AOP) targets.Partner with R&D, SQA, Sector SC key stakeholders and MSO to understand Region dynamics & business needs (macroeconomic, portfolio transformation, innovation…) for strategy development to ensure maximum business value.Drive business alignment and resource allocation to deliver strategy.Lead commercial and contract negotiations / RFPs across the sector.Develop a robust pipeline of productivity and transformation ideas into appropriate productivity projects in time for annual operation plan (AOP) submissions to ensure delivery of the year-on-year productivity targets.Supplier relationship management and supplier development to unlock innovation in order to deliver cost effective PEP+ and portfolio transformation targets, and to unlock consumer value supporting Design to Value and Simplify to Grow Sector strategies.Supplier performance management to ensure best in class cost/quality/supply service levels.Develop and execute comprehensive category risk management program including financial risk assessment and Business Continuity Planning strategies to ensure supply assurance.Stay fully informed of industry developments, capabilities, market trends and innovation pipeline of suppliers, and ensure insights are translated into sourcing strategies in terms of innovation, VE, enhanced supply strategies as well as intel shared with MSO business partners.Manage Europe Flavor buyer who will also have responsibility to manage price negotiations for Turkey local ingredients and Seasonings and support the execution of local category strategies that create competitive advantage for the business.Develop strategy for Turkey Top Seasonings and Ingredients materials and find localization opportunities to minimize risk and exposure to forex and inflation.Lead direct report to develop & execute category strategies for their individual scopes and focus on team development.Maintain appropriate records and reporting processes to ensure compliance with PepsiCo and Procurement policies, including financial reporting, supplier selection, contracting, risk management, productivity, and sustainability.
