Currently to our SSC in Lodz we are looking for a person willing to take the role of Category Manager. Your first responsibilities will be to build and lead new Procurement team, and to implement procurement strategies. If this sounds interesting for you send your application to us! What will you be doing? Prepare and implement procurement sourcing strategies and processes in alignment with Head of Indirect Spend, Head of Procurement and BU/Function targets to maximize value for purchases related to corporate services and packaging. Analyse spend patterns and market conditions and standardize packaging across BUs/Countries adhering to policies and sustainability initiatives. Run complex, high-value contract negotiations with key suppliers. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply and satisfying contract terms. Lead and direct respective team towards high performance including skill and capability development. Oversee procurement activities of team members including creating RFPs/RFQs and evaluating proposals and contracts. Continuously improve procurement operations through best practices identification and implementation and drive key saving projects. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or chemical/technical degree with commercial/business background Min. 3 years leadership experience 8 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management Strong negotiations skills Ability to lead, coach and motivate a high-performing team Knowledge of corporate financial policies and procurement regulations Language skills: Corporate language: English C1 German or French would be an asset What’s in it for you?
