Post location: Warsaw, Prosta 36About the Role:The will be responsible for supporting key aspects of Prudential Capital Regulatory Policy, with particular emphasis on Recovery & Resolution and associated regulations. The Incumbent will be reporting to International Regulatory Capital Policy & Advisory Head.Banking & International Controllers function within the Citi Finance organisation is accountable for both US and Local Financial and Regulatory Reporting, for all countries outside North America. The Incumbent will assume a key appointment within Banking & International Controllers to lead on key topics related to recovery and resolution, and ensure that these are understood, interpreted, documented and communicated to stakeholders across Citi.Key Responsibilities:Capturing relevant updates from Regulators (rules, RTS/ITS, Q&As, Guidelines), with a particular emphasis on Global, European Union, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore, that may impact the recovery and resolution regulations for relevant legal entities;Supporting Government Affairs and Strategy teams in advocacy and lobbying efforts related to relevant regulations;Analysing and interpreting new relevant regulatory rules:Supporting implementation efforts for relevant new regulations as they come into forceCommunicating significant regulatory issues and complex new regulations to senior management in a timely manner;Contributing to the review and approval of regulatory interpretations by the Interpretative Office and Capital and Leverage Interpretative Working Group;Advising and challenging Front Office on capital optimisation initiatives that they propose;Leading International Regulatory Capital Policy & Advisory’s response to New Activity Committee in reviewing and approving new products and structured transactions;Interacting with regulatory standard setters and actively participating and representing Citi on Regulatory Policy industry forums and committees related to recovery and resolution;Supporting the Quality Assurance team in development of work programmes, ongoing technical advice and technical reviews of final reports;Key Skills and Qualifications:A finance professional with 10+ years of experience in a regulatory or policy roleStrong knowledge of recovery and resolution rules, regulations and relevant regulatory disclosures.Knowledge of legal entity accounting and reporting preferred but not essentialAbility to translate strategy into executionProfessional communication/interpersonal skills at all levels and across different functionsSelf-motivated and ability to work independentlyStrong team leader & good team player with a professional approach to work, and able to present and influence across organization level and functionsEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree in business, accountancy, economics, legal or similar discipline.Master’s degree preferredExceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.What we offer:Competitive compensation package and consideration for a yearly discretionary bonusAttractive social benefits (private medical care, multisport, life insurance, award-winning pension scheme, holiday allowance, award/recognition system; maternity/paternity scheme, hybrid work model, lucrative bonuses within employee referral program, and other)Inclusive and friendly corporate culture where gender diversity and equality is widely recognized;Abundance of internal job opportunities globallyA chance to make a difference with various affinity networks and charity initiatives#WarsawFinance#LI-AD1------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Finance------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Financial Reporting------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------
