About the role We are seeking a Sales Manager who has experience building and growing business by working with sales channel partners, OEMs, and direct customers.. The role requires an experienced and aggressive business development professional with solid automotive industry, analytical skills, with exceptional sales skills. The candidate must be able to operate in a matrix organization, working with our customers as well as sales, product management, and operations teams. This role has significant travel requirements; the successful candidate must be willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time. You will primarily work with large prospective end-users, to ensure Carrier Transicold is their product of choice. This position reports directly to the Managing Director, collaborating with sales and service management.RESPONSABILITIES HighlightsBuild and maintain aggressive account growth plans of top customers in Poland and execute those plansLead complex negotiations, define value propositions and strategies to improve the company’s position and ensure long-term contracts and recurrent revenue streamsDevelop, maintain, and grow direct business with key end-users or national accountThe primary point of contact for all Strategic Account communication, engagement, or activitiesSupport assigned customers in sales activities and provide assistance to the customer in identifying new opportunitiesAdvise, coach, and assist sales channels in their sales pursuit activitiesA regular and rigorous review of sales activities to achieve orders planDeliver on financial objectives in conjunction with Sales ManagerMaintain extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets, and competitionBuild and implement sales action plans to effectively and efficiently execute company strategyEnsure sales team members develop, maintain, and manage a strong pipeline of sales opportunities while ensuring an accurate forecast of bookings, revenue, and sales initiativesAssist with the development and presentation of strategic sales presentations/proposalsMonitor sales metrics, implement actions to improve sales performance, and identify opportunities for growthPartner with the field sales and service team members, operations, branch and regional leadership as necessaryMust model the capabilities of an ‘Executive Sales Professional’ to sales colleagues, and be a mentor and guide when appropriate.Actively participate in sales and service department meetings, workshops, and seminars. Keep current on market business and product trends. Continue to pursue in-depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 10+ years of sales management experience in automotive, or related industry in professional positions with increasing responsibility preferredExceptional written and spoken communication skills are a mustStrong communication and presentation skillsCompetent in assessing customer needs and identifying sales opportunitiesStrong problem-solving, strategic thinking skills requiredStrong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize data from various sources in both graphic and verbal format, while easily translating them to the target audienceAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)Working experience and advanced skills with CRMHighly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple prioritiesFluent in the English languageEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a similar field10+ years of diversified sales experience in a technology field is preferredTravel:75%Our commitment to youOur greatest assets are the expertise, creativity and passion of our employees.
