We are looking for highly qualified specialists to join our SAP Team Responsibilities With your process and technical SAP expertise, you will support or manage developments in our SAP ECC and S/4Hana systems with the colleagues in Hamburg and Gdansk in all relevant FI processes In close cooperation with departments of finance, accounting, risk, sustainability, and corporate communications in Hamburg and around the globe you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of new functions, for process consulting as well as for the maintenance and support of the finance and accounting processes in SAP together with the team In addition, you will work on following topics, depending on your experiences: o Support in tax related topics around the globe o Support of our Internal Control System, that is implemented in an SAP GRC system With your creative ideas, you will act as an innovator within the team and drive new processes forward operationally, as well as use and implement recent technologies Working together with colleagues from other teams and thinking out of the box is part of your daily business and something that comes naturally to you Qualifications Very good experience in customizing and working in all SAP FI modules You have a sound understanding of business processes, especially in the areas of Finance, Accounting and Risk and adjacent areas like Payments, Treasury, Controlling and Procurement You have relevant experience in the development, customization, and implementation of complex SAP landscapes and in the optimization of business and IT processes. Knowledge in tax topics, following is beneficial: o Withholding Tax o VAT o Tax-reporting (like SAF-T standard audit tax file for countries like Portugal, Angola, Spain, Poland, etc) closing activities and reporting You are willing to learn about the topic of sustainability and the reporting needs. A collaborative and empathic mindset to enable our business colleagues through our solutions Experience in agile working methods, as in Scrum or experience as a Product Manager is an advantage Effective communication skills in an international environment paired with good command of written and spoken English Understanding of HL IT Product and relevant previous experience in the areas of logistics or transportation will be an asset Knowledge of container shipping business would be an advantage About Us With a fleet of 264 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.0 million TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies.
