Our Team
The Sourcing Engineer - Logistics will be a part of our Global Indirect Spent Procurement Team within Global Logistics & Distribution Operations. You will join the international team and support sourcing initiatives dedicated to our businesses in European region, being close to our new, greenfield plant in Siemianowice Śląskie.
What You Will Do
- Identify cost and productivity improvement opportunities in transportation, warehousing, and customs brokerage
- Lead sourcing projects from strategy development to contract execution
- Conduct industry and supplier research
- Drive Total Cost of Ownership benefits through analytics and managed baseline
- Maintain supplier relationships for mutual benefits
- Monitor market dynamics for category across the European region and globally
- Collaborate with other Koch Companies to develop synergies and savings
- Foster a collaborative environment among plant leadership and key stakeholders
- Comply with current Molex policies and practices related to business programs
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management
- Progressive experience in Procurement and Sourcing
- Experience with Logistics services of transportation, warehousing, and brokerage
- Broad knowledge of suppliers and supply markets
- Extensive supplier negotiation experience
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Skilled in stakeholder collaboration and supplier relationship management
- Solid business and procurement analytical skills
- Clear and concise communication skills in English
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and e-Sourcing tools
What Will Put You Ahead
- Procurement and Sourcing experience in Logistics Services
- Basic cross-functional project management experience or PM certified
- Previous International work assignments/experience
