Engineering Product Manager - Seatbelts.

Responsibilities • Manage cross functional product management meetings. Publish open issue log and action plan lists. Maintain timely and effective communication to Senior Mgmt and customer application teams; • Participate in regional sourcing to support definition of supply base for new tools (cross-customer use). Provide volumes and launch timing to support effective sourcing; • Responsibility that MOP‘s (Timing, Cost, Requirements, Budgets) are met, manage and maintain project budget in SAP. Owner of regional product cost leadership; • Support / provide input into CQA process. Support tool capacity verification for each new program award (know when other programs have covered capacity needs.) Understand required timing for capacity tool kick off and implementation; • Central link into application program teams and operations for product / process changes (Communication, support, strategies, etc.). Central link cross customer changes; • Support standardization of components and manufacturing process within region. Responsible for engineering changes which are applied on a cross customer application level; • Responsible for launching major VA/VE changes which are cross customer in nature (Post DV handover from VA/VE team); • Responsible for managing supplier resourcing, tool transfer, and / or de sourcing which are cross customer related. Development of bank plan, validation and project timeline. Candidate profile • Master’s degree in engineering or business administration; • Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry; • Additional training/experience in business administration as advantage; • Ability/ willingness to present data for different stakeholders e.g. customers, management, engineers; • Fluency in English and Polish, written and spoken is a must (German as advantage); • Ability to cooperate within an international environment; • Driving license cat. B and willingness to travel.
