We are a pioneer in battery materials that give added range and performance to electric vehicles. Our materials also ensure longer battery life for portable electronics. To enable our customers to produce even better performing batteries we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. Which is where you come in What you will be doingSupport all RBM sites with continuous improvement of maintenance (horizon 1)Use methodologies aiming to realize maintenance efficiency and cost improvements: predictive maintenance, MTBF analysis, RCA, TPM, 5S, lean 6 sigmaProvide training for the relevant OE methods to different levelsFollow up maintenance KPI’s of the different sites, discuss deviations with the sites, set yearly targets with the sites and work with the benchmarking and standardization manager to standardize KPI’sHelp the sites to identify, define and prioritize maintenance improvement projectsWork with PDE and engineering during the preparation, construction and startup of new RBM plants (horizon 2)Advise on maintainability, spare parts standardizationFeedback lessons learned from practical experienceParticipate in commissioning and start up activities where relevantPrepare the maintenance setup for new sitesEvaluate TCO and potential improvementsAssess the optimal level of automation, suggest and develop improvementsIdentify, define and improve digital tools and industry 4.0 solutions in maintenance on both horizon 1 and horizon 2Specific tools and measurement to support maintenance RCA, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, PI/Power BI dashboards, SAP-PM, scheduling and mobilityIdentify opportunities, prepare business cases, define optimized processes, describe the functionalitiesAct as the global process owner (GPO) towards COO operational digitalization manager/BITDevelop in depth knowledge of maintenance of RBM plantsExpertise on contamination management and prevention: contamination FMEA, equipment related contamination investigationExpertise on dust preventionExpertise on calibration of measurement equipment in productionAct as project manager or project team member for key improvement projectsAs Global process owner maintenance (GPO) elaborate and maintain the global standard for maintenance processes and interface with local process ownersEnsure alignment between and advice to RBM sites, coordination and alignment with Sustainability, Digi, Engineering, PDE, PTI, BIT, EHS & QMGatekeeper role in CR flow for maintenance related modifications in existing plantsParticipate in regular QM update, EHS workshopsWhat we are looking forBachelors or master’s degree in engineering or other, with 5-10 years of experience in an operational or operational excellence role in an industrial environmentGood knowledge of variety of systems & tools applied in operational excellence (lean 6 sigma, VSM, TOC, TPM, 5S) and experience in implementing operational excellence on the work floorFamiliar with production, maintenance, warehousing and internal logistics in battery materials industry or chemical process industryGood practical technical / technological background. Knowledge of CAM manufacturing processes is recommendedHaving obtained a Lean 6 sigma black belt certification is a strong assetExperience with change management in a multi-site and multi-cultural environmentProject management experienceWell-developed business communication skillsExcellent written and spoken English communicationComputer skills: office software (Excel, Access and Word) and shopfloor digital tools (PI, Power BI, SAP PM)Willingness to work either in our Nysa site (3 days a week) or in Bielany Wrocławskie office with regular travels to Nysa (minimum 2 times a week)What we offerWe aim to lead the way.
