Job Summary:  Our Client, a global manufacturing company, is looking for experienced Operations Director who is able to successfully drive a further development of an employee-oriented high performance culture that is emphasizing continuous improvement mindset with focus on efficiency, automation, as well as quality and sustainability. The Operations Director oversees and leads all functional areas of operations in the production plant covering manufacturing, warehousing, engineering and maintenance, internal customer service, H&S, CI, quality and product testing, as well as finance, controlling plus HR & payroll.    Operations Director forms part of European Leadership Team where team work and ability to communicate at all levels is needed to successfully fulfill the position and support the achievement of the Company’s business goal. Reporting directly to Senior VP Operations, the Operations Director needs to ensure that agreed budget commitments with related targets set for the factory are delivered and all processes comply with regulations and company policies.   Key tasks and responsibilities: Lead and supervise all activities, processes and daily operations to ensure safe work environment and continuity of business operations in the Factory Support and drive deployment of company’s strategy, company mission and corporate values Facilitate key initiatives with a particular focus on operational excellence, digitalization, automation and delivering budgeted (both OPEX and CAPEX) targets Identify efficiency gaps and other opportunities enabling further process optimization, digitalization and performance increase Work closely with business partners and European Management to improve relationships, manage expectations and resolving issues Benchmark with other group production plants on improvement ideas and performance metrics to leverage efficiency gains and process automation initiatives   Develop direct reports and other employees in the plant through teamwork, coaching and motivation with lean management principles and CI mindset  Run market research and analyze latest trends and industry innovations, make recommendations and facilitate implementations of recommended or approved solutions Maximize assets and production footprint, capacity and flexibility by smart shop floor management and OEE increase Ensure all processes in the Factory comply with local regulations, company policies as well as quality and industry standards   Experience & competences: To be considered for the role of Operations Director the candidate should have 10+ years’ work experience as Operations Director or Plant Director or similar positions. Background derived from production company is a must. Education: Higher education, preferably technical and Business Administration (MBA) Expectations: Strong leadership skills with demonstratable project and change management experience oriented on maximizing efficiency are key attributes of a good candidate applying for the position. Besides that, candidates for the role must have experience and skillsets in: Building and executing operational strategy with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement background Proven track record in a field of production and internal logistic processes automation, digitalization and Industry 4.0 implementation Creativity and out of the box thinking with attention to details Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and listening) in Polish and English Excellent interpersonal and people management skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization Hands-on and pro-active problem-solving skills Highly developed organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and work well as a team member Good business acumen and global perspective of the industry Stress resilient and able to take on a significant workload in a constantly changing environment (scale up or down the operations related to seasonality, flexible workforce)   What employer offers: An opportunity to work with a growing and diverse business Competitive compensation package Attractive salary & benefits, including company car Career development opportunities
