Senior Front-End Engineer

About the Role As a Senior Front Engineer, you'll be a key member of our team, proposing creative solutions, de-tangling the complex into the simple, and collaborating closely with teammates and Product. Our engineering team uses React.js on the web frontend, React Native for our mobile applications, and Ruby on Rails on the backend. We’re looking for someone who will take the frontend to the Next (js) level English is our primary language and we provide coaching, mentoring and help with English language skills Required Skills: 5 years of professional web developments experience, comfortable working independently Solid experience working with the Next.js framework Solid experience in React.js with TypeScript Overall JavaScript experience Proficiency with all parts of the software development lifecycle, including testing and release management Strong analytical and communication skills. We’re a distributed team with flexible working hours, so communication is a key Familiar with automated testing and JS build and packaging systems like Jest, Cypress, and Webpack Responsibilities: Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Product to conceptualize and implement new features and improvements in our client-facing code Contribute to the technical roadmap of ongoing improvements, enhancements and updates Participate in code reviews, listen to feedback and comment on other approaches Help solve debugging, testing, and deployment problems Collaborate across teams to promote consistency Improve the stability of existing and new code Provide technical leadership Please note that this is a mid-senior to senior-level role.
