Experienced Project Manager for Global Supply Chain projectsDo you want to lead some of the most important Supply Chain projects in ROCKWOOL? Then join us and ensure the implementation of our new tools in all our Operating Companies across the world. This is who we are You will become part of Group Supply Chain. The department currently consists of 17 people each with their own field of expertise.As Group Supply Chain we are focused on keeping the bird’s eye view on the supply chain operations across all the local supply chain departments within ROCKWOOL. This means that we draw up the strategic foundation and deploy best practices that the individual departments operate from. We are proud to be world leaders in our industry, and we work hard to stay in this position.This is the role In the course of the next years, we are implementing a number of new tools such as a new global warehouse management system, a new global S&OP tool, as well as running other large enabling supply chain projects. Your role will be to manage the projects from a business perspective and ensure coordination between the different sub-projects. Doing so, you will collaborate closely with a broad range of colleagues from our production sites across the Globe. Therefore, you can expect to travel 30-50 days a year, e.g. when visiting offices or factories.This is what you offerYou have solid experience running large-scale business driven IT projects, preferably from a manufacturing company. Being the person who leads the way comes naturally to you. Moreover, you are a true people’s person who manifests yourself in the way you interact with stakeholders from many different cultures.This position requires a lot of knowledge and the right skillset. Therefore, it is:Important that you have a master’s degreeNecessary that you have 5+ years of experience managing larger projects in international companies, preferably business driven IT projects – also driving the Organisational ChangesCrucial that you are experienced within project management, preferably with a Prince2 or IPMA B certification.A plus if you have a background working as a consultant and/or worked within Supply ChainAn advantage if you have experience with SAP implementations.As a person you:Are self-motivating, self-starting and have excellent planning skillsHave leadership and management skillsHave intercultural experience and are strong in both written and spoken EnglishCommunicate in a clear and direct mannerUse your impact to reach the resultsThis is what we offer A challenging job in a very professional and ambitious company with high-quality, innovative products.
