Regional responsibility for quality and safetyOur client is a market leader in the industryAbout Our ClientFor our client, an international food manufacturer, we are currently looking for a CEE Quality and Safety Director. As the CEE Quality and Safety Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across our client's operations in the Central and Eastern Europe region. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and safety programs, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Job DescriptionDeveloping and managing food safety processes and programs in CEE countries.Providing expert guidance on food safety risk assessment and resolution.Strategically leading product quality initiatives and management systems.Ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and standards.Researching and implementing innovative technologies for food safety enhancement.Preparing entities for external audits.Creating training plans for QSE requirements.Establishing and improving QHSE policies and procedures.Setting and monitoring KPIs for QSE functions.Serving as a Subject Matter Expert on food safety regulations.Cultivating business relationships with regulatory agencies.Overseeing the performance of suppliers and laboratories.Promoting a culture of safety and cross-functional quality focus.The Successful Applicant15+ years of experience in food manufacturing, with 5+ years in leadership roles.Knowledge of food safety legislation.Fluent English proficiency.Proficiency in MS Office.Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities.Excellent communication and multicultural skills.Independence, ambition, and business acumen.Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results efficiently.What's on OfferExciting role in a rapidly expanding international companyCompetitive salary package
