Our Noble Drilling Gdańsk office, which appeared on Tricity map in 2019, is designed to deliver the highest level of services to our Rigs located around the world. Joining us, you will become a part of our team of more than 200 colleagues, all of whom are dedicated to support our fleet, delivering services such as: Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, Category Management, Global HR (Crewing, Training, Manning, Employee Cycle, Local HR), Offshore IT, Local IT, Technical HUB, HSSEQ.You will be working in an environment full of opportunities to grow, where you will feel valued and trusted. Joining us, you will be a part of a category management team together with 15 highly skilled colleagues in a global organisation. The main stakeholders will be based in Gdansk Poland and Houston US. You will lead the development and execution of Indirect categories in collaboration with the business, as well as global sourcing projects with a focus on delivering on the company integration and synergy plan.Your responsibilities:Managing and supporting the activities related to Category Management together with Key stakeholders and proactively identifying opportunitiesDeveloping specific Category Management strategies which are sensitive to operational needs, customer requirements, regulatory issues, and market opportunitiesLeading and managing global sourcing to contract projects in an organization under constant changeManaging your own Indirect and Direct categories with the responsibility of developing and implementing global category management strategiesIdentifying and implementing cost initiatives with focus on stakeholder satisfaction while challenging the status quo Supporting the day-to-day activities ensuring that value of category management is visible to all stakeholders (contract management, first point of contact, coordination of activities, vendor management, escalation to suppliers etc.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred or equivalent business experience..Experience within Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing and Category ManagementExcellent written and verbal communication English skillsProject Management skills with experience in running global strategic sourcing projects with a track record of cost savingsGreat Stakeholder management skills with experience in finding the right balance between challenging and supporting key stakeholdersStrong analytical skills with the ability to find and analyze data.
