Has in-depth technical knowledge of the category responsible for, as well as stakeholder and supplier management for Indirect Procurement. Responsibilities include proactively leading cost reduction projects, designing and proposing supplier development strategies, negotiations and contracting, making and executing decisions to ensure quality products and services on time according to Baxter's business needs.RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with internal partners and use these relationships to lead category strategies, pipeline items and short/medium/long-term goals to support the ongoing delivery of product pipeline.Lead the supplier selection, risk assessment and contract negotiation process for key projects.Ensure that appropriate Supplier Relationship Management programs are in place for strategic and critical suppliers in the concerned categories of spend.Provide regular progress updates to Senior Leadership and to key internal partners.Lead negotiations across critical supply agreements using strong value-based techniques.Monitor, track and report on savings and incremental value of sourcing activitiesStimulate and support innovation by using the supplier base, regularly reviewing market developments, and mobilizing the appropriate internal network.Be an inspiring leader within the organization on key solutions in the marketplace consistently ensuring that Baxter has line of sight to current trends in cost management.EDUCATIONUniversity degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or related areas required.TRAININGProven experience in people, stakeholder and project management.Ability to coordinate multiple parallel sourcing initiatives across different business groups.Strong analytic and negotiation skills.Business sense and ability to develop critical thinking.Experience in contracting to include but not be limited to Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments and NDAs.Understanding of Procurement standard processes, supply markets, suppliers and products.Ability to work in a multi-cultural and matrix environment.Understanding of pricing models and contracts terms.SKILLSFluent English (writing and reading).Spanish (desirable).Excellent interpersonal skills.Analytical skills and conflict managementStrategic, invocative and logical thinking, flexible and able to assess/manage risksChange agenteEffective verbal and written communicationAbility to create and maintain networks (business and functions)Will, determination and motivation to succeedTeamworkEXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years' experience in category management experience with multinational organizations.Experience in MRP, JDE, SAP, Office desirableWhat do we offerProbation period of 3 months and then for an indefinite period.Competitive salary, annual bonuses, recognition award program.Environment based on our values: collaboration, speed, courage and simplicity.Possibilities for development on a personal and professional level in one of the leading global MedTech companies.Package of benefits including Private medical care (Lux Med), Life Insurance, Multisport card.Bax4U - cafeteria/lunch cards (300 PLN).PPE program with very attractive conditions available for each employee after 3 months.Educational support: fully covered language courses (English or other languages according to business needs), financial certifications (ACCA, CIMA)Co-financing of holidays and an additional 2 days off from work annually.Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Great Warsaw office location - Powiśle!
