Supply Chain and Packaging Engineer

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Develop detailed plans for internal packaging and finished product packaging during new product launch.
  • Calculate necessary packaging investments to make sure it fits the launch budget.
  • Prepare and deploy Design to Pack strategy during Development phase of new product.
  • Work with the packaging supplier to design, develop and deliver an efficient packaging ranging from inbound boxes to specialised JIT racks and Special Equipment
  • Develop and establish Logistics flows both within the factory and outside, customer flow, inbound logistics.
  • Provide calculations for most efficient stock levels and production batches.
Knowledge of packaging, English at B1/B2 level|Willingness to travel (Business trips in Central Europe mainly)

Personality requirements and skills:

  • Knowledge of packaging development is an advantage
  • University degree (technical, engineering field) --> Bachelor's / Engineer or Master's Degree in Logistics or Managing a production engineering etc.
  • English language - min. B1
  • Good communication skills, team player
  • Eagerness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and skill development
  • Willingness to travel (Business trips in Central Europe mainly)

Driving licence: B Candidate's additional strengths will be:

  • Experience in SAP ERP, MS Project, Ms Office inc. Excel
  • Reading technical drawings + 3D CAD viewer
  • Experience in working in international environment
  • Intrest about logistics, transport, purchasing and production planning
