The RoleAs part of the European Sourcing Factories Cluster Leadership Team, the Factory Manager Radom is responsible for leading the factory transformation as an integral part of the E2E Global Supply Chain Strategy and to ensure factory performance meets the IB standards for occupational health, safety and environment as well as production, quality, supply chain and technical management processes.The role of Factory Manager includes financial control incorporating cost and working capital optimisation, waste, productivity, efficiency and people and culture management. You will be accountable for the proper execution of all local processes and leadership of teams associated with manufacturing, from a production, engineering, people, and general site management point of view whilst closely aligning with the relevant central process and/or standards owners. An important responsibility of the role is to develop and implement transformational change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage to drive business performance.Principle AccountabilitiesAs a senior leader of IB, lead the cultural transformation and drive the delivery of the IB strategy on site.Strengthen Safety culture in the organization. Ensure a safe, well maintained production operation in accordance with Imperial’s standards for quality, safety, security, and housekeeping in conformance with all local regulationsAs part of the European Sourcing Factories Cluster Leadership Team, to drive the Cluster agenda, foster talent development and support Global Supply Chain must win battle.Drive local employee engagement and wellbeing initiativesDirectly lead and develop the capability and drive performance of the factory leadership teamMaintain and drive a culture of continuous improvement based on the disciplined application of systematic problem solving, quality improvement, and lean manufacturing tools and processes – in line with our Manufacturing Excellence strategic goals.Ensure financial control of the Factory -incorporating cost and working capital optimizationExecute the local plans and production requirements based on and in line with the defined Group and GSC standardsEnsure forecasted production volume is delivered on time, within specified quality and at optimum cost in line with targeted manufacturing resultsEnsure planning and supply processes are executed in close alignment with the central planning team (Warsaw Hub) to control and optimize working capital requirementsEnsure optimal management and maintenance of local assets in line with agreed group and/or regional standardsManage communication with the key stakeholders (Trade Unions, local authorities, suppliers, subcontractors, etc.) in order to maintain a positive working environment conducive to collaboration and which contributes to long term factory developmentManage business processes with awareness and consideration of local market environments (legislation, taxation, economic situation, culture, etc.)Strongly support and contribute to the onward development of the manufacturing operations within both the Sourcing Cluster and the wider European region.Chair person of the local board.Leadership Attributes Required The Factory Manager’s role goal will also include to drive fast adoption, high utilization of changes and proficiency with the transformational efforts that impact employees who must use the changes in their daily work. As such this involves the active support and development of the factory leadership team in terms of guiding, coaching as well as challenging them on their ways of working. Ability to efficiently work within a CoE based organization. Having an understanding for how a factory runs while working effectively with our COE’s to ensure all technology and excellence programs are being implemented and utilized to drive our continuous improvement culture.
