Responsibilities Own production of timely and accurate monthly financial results in compliance with all US and local reporting requirements.Lead decision making with strong technical accounting knowledge.Develop and quickly execute global standardization initiatives.Implement new accounting systems, processes, and requisite internal controls.Ensure the performance of key SOX controls and the completeness and accuracy of account reconciliations, and journal entries.Drive a culture of continuous improvement focused on scaling the organization through automation to shorten the close cycle, reduce risk and improve decision support.Increase staff retention and growth by leading by example, developing competence, and providing career paths.Perform other duties as directed. QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, requiredCPA or Chartered Accountant required15+ years of experience in large, public, global corporate accounting roles and 4+ years in public accountingExcellent technical knowledge of US GAAP and personal interest with respect to matters of accounting and internal control so as to be able to function as a resident accounting and control expert regarding the preparation of financial statements.Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary to clearly present key topics to executive leadership (including Chief Accounting Officer , Work Dynamics Global CFO, and WD Global Executive Board members)Sarbanes Oxley experience, requiredMajor successful leadership roles in financial system optimizations, preferredStrongly proficient in Powerpoint and Excel.
