About this opportunity As a Manager, Payroll you will ensure on-time 100% accurate monthly payroll for employees in countries within their remit across multiple legal entities. You will ensure that all statutory regulations and payments to third parties are compliant. Advising Country Managers and HR Business Partners on all tax matters related to payroll. Ensure that salaries and wages associated with payroll and benefit related payments are accurate. You will report to the Sr. Manager Payroll EMEA who is base in Poland and manage a team of 5 people based in Poland, but supporting EMEA region. The location of your office will be Wrocław. We can offer a hybrid work model (2 HO days). In this role, you will… Execute and oversee on-time, accurate monthly payroll to all employees by coordinating the Payroll Specialists Ensure the team responds to all employee related enquiries timely and professionally Handle all types of escalations that might occur in conjunction with the overall payroll process Establish practices which ensure compliance, timeliness, and accuracy Liaise with all the needed stakeholders, including Total Rewards, Legal, HR, FP&A and Finance teams, to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance for payroll processing Coordinate projects for process improvement Coordinate projects for the set-up of new payrolls Meet all regulatory, tax, compliance, internal and external filings, third party payments and reporting requirements on a monthly and annual basis for all payroll and employee benefits for all legal entities and countries. Ensure employee pay statements are accurate and distributed timely Assist with Managing relationship with local payroll vendor(s) and country specific regulatory and accounting bodies to ensure compliance with all country and workforce related laws within remit. Assist with Preparing vendor performance metrics. Escalate issues to Senior functional Management Ensure timely accurate reporting of all financials tied to payroll processing, providing appropriate data to Finance to enable reconciliations Ensure robust operating procedures and document management practices are prepared, maintained, and followed for all functions to comply with corporate policies, tax authorities, bank authorities and other statutory agencies Controlling and coordination tasks, payroll checks and sign off, SAP Journals approvals, audit requests, Blackline certifications Determine payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee income and social security taxes, and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments. Balance the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures Maintain payroll staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees In this role, you’ll need … Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent experience 6+ years’ experience in human resources, payroll, or accounting for a multinational corporation 2-3 years of exprience managing people A proactive and positive mindset, solution-focused and ability to work in a very dynamic multi-cultural changing environment Knowledge of payroll tax, SOX and accounting requirements Advanced Excel skills Fluent in English Experience or knowldge of compensation and wage structures, managing processes, finance and accounting
