We bring financial context into the picture when partnering with the lines of business, senior and executive management, and our board of directors.Currently in our office in Kraków, we are looking for an experienced AP Team ManagerHow you will impact WestRock:Managing a team with a focus on effective operational execution, being responsible for the short to mid-term operational and tactical team activities.Managing the relationship with outsourced provider including period end close activities associated with P2P processes.Identifying, recommending, and assisting in implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains across the Company.Ensure delivery in alignment with the service portfolio and to meet the agreed deadlines and Service AgreementsEnsure timely and accurate posting of incoming invoices, payment process, finance close activities, standard reporting, coordinate month end closure – all tasks performed by AP Team. Manage query resolutionLead and coach individuals to develop a high performing team.Create a continuous improvement environment by setting performance targets, monitoring progress, and ensuring corrective actions are taken when required.Ensure policies and procedures are maintained and implemented.Manage workload of teamActive engagement and best practice sharing with other team managers.Follows accounting and tax laws standards.Maintains various fiscal information, files, and records to provide an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.Support Senior AP Service Delivery Manager in any additional activities and ad hoc requests.Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.What you need to succeed:University Degree, preferably in Accounting or FinanceProven experience in PTP function, including experience in managing people within SSC/BPO environment.Knowledge of accounts payable principles and practicesFluent English.Understanding of accounts payable end to end process.Project and change management capabilities.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially very good MS Excel skills.Excellent communication skills.Problem solving and analytical skills. Must have good time management skills and be able to meet strict deadlines Positive & friendly attitude.Change Management skills to assess the organization’s ability to absorb change, implement changes smoothly and consistently across locations.Experience in transferring processes will be an asset.A desire to work in a fast-growing and agile organization.What we offer:Attractive salary reflecting skills, competencies and potential. Hybrid work possibilities.International work environment.Private Medical Services in Lux Med with preferential rates for additional family members.Life insurance in AXA, with preferential rates for additional family members.Holiday pay bonus (Świadczenie urlopowe).Multi benefit program.One additional leave day every 3rd work anniversary.Free parking space.
