To understand more about us, please visit https://www.sea.live/   The Role   We are looking for a self-reliant Senior QA Automation Engineer who will be responsible for designing detailed and well-structured tests based on both business and technical requirements in tickets and who will take ownership of implementing them and managing the whole testing process. We hope to find someone who is ready to assure quality by providing necessary actions including manual testing on frontend and backend and providing automation to achieve costs/time benefits in terms of testing.     As a QA Engineer you will: Drive quality across all disciplines, providing guidance, feedback and suggestions to improve quality practices across the teams. Take ownership of a feature quality, this includes being involved in any solution definition of a feature once the Product has defined the scope. Plan any testing and make sure any requirements are sorted out up front (environments, users, test data, etc.) Testing the feature, liaising with Dev/Product as necessary during the test phase Plan any go-live testing which will be needed. Support other developers in writing tests by sharing know-how and good practices. Identify and implement supplemental test cases but also continuously improve our testing frameworks. Complete any Cypress new tests and updates to existing tests. Requirements   Commercial experience in creating test scenarios, test cases, and test management. Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (for example Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Gherkin, Postman) Practical experience with test preparation, execution, defect reporting, and maintenance of test documentation In-depth knowledge and understanding of quality best practices, techniques, and methodologies to drive continuous quality improvements. Experience in creating test environments and test data.
