  • To assist with the setup of the accounting function of the Polish offices to meet local compliance requirements and integration with our local ERP systems
  • Maintenance of adequate financial reporting and control environment for the Polish entities
  • Preparation and submission of local monthly tax accounts
  • Preparation and submission of local monthly VAT returns
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for the global management pack (e.g. creating, posting and reviewing journals, account code analysis and monitoring, preparation of the month end pack and other reports)
  • Overseeing bank account reconciliations and cash flow management.
  • Oversee compliance including payroll, VAT and other taxes. This will include working with our in-country accountants, bankers and advisors
  • Manage the monthly payroll process and year end reporting with HR
  • Act as a business partner to the local managing partner and team providing finance related advice of pricing, billing, working capital management, profitability, compliance, taxation and practice performance
  • Work on the year-end statutory audits and other ad-hoc audits. This will include the preparation of financial statements for the country
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Work collaboratively with the EMEA and US based finance teams
  • Work collaboratively to achieve results and process improvement
  • Undertake forecasting and Budgeting

You will be a fully qualified accountant with post qualification experience in a similar role, including experience of accounting for a multi-site international business, preferably in the business services sector. You will have knowledge of Poland taxes and exposure to overseas tax issues as well as strong Excel skills.
