This position can be located in the Netherlands or Poland.The Trade Compliance, Senior Manager - EMEA is responsible for managing import/export compliance activities in the region. You will lead and train your team to oversee export controls and sanctions, import and data analysis, and logistics compliance for facilities in both regions. You will provide strategic direction and guidance to this team and key stakeholders with a focus on our trade compliance program, as well as provide strategic reviews to our senior management team on trade related events potentially impacting our business.This position reports to the Director of Logistics, AP & EMEAModel of work for this role is hybrid.By joining us, you will bring your fresh ideas and supply chain experience to this role. This matters because Rockwell Automation is rapidly growing as a global leader in automation and technology, helping to shape the future of manufacturing - and you can be a part of that!ABOUT THE ROLE:Establishes regional export/import procedures aligning with company policy ensuring widespread company awareness and compliance with various host governments' regulatory requirements.Responsible for monitoring, implementing and documenting trade related processes for the company within the region.Establishes/supports internal/external audits and risk assessment of the regional export/import compliance program as well as oversight of corrective action plans.Develops relationships with Customs and relevant local government contacts to ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate trade/duty initiatives.Continuously monitor industry, legislative and regulatory changes and translate it into actionable business recommendations and plans through consultation with the Global Trade Compliance Team.Provides regional Trade consulting, training, and knowledge sharing to designated contacts and regional businesses.Operates as the regional Trade escalation focal point for trade-related issues.Leads regional Trade performance management – creates and deploys a balanced performance scorecard, key performance indicators.Provides customer and merger/acquisition support.Support supply chain security and preferred shipper status programs such as CTPAT/AEO/PIP, etc.Represents the company on regional export/customs committees, trade associations, and industry forums.Identifies regional customs compliance and cost-saving opportunities and proactively works with Global Trade Compliance and the business to implement them.Supports and assists in special programs and projects related to trade in the regions.Provides direct regional support expertise and issue resolution regarding duty, Free Trade Zone, and bonded warehouse processes/activities, brokerage, clearance activities, manual processes and ERP solutions.Manages regional trade compliance export/import record retention requirements.Oversight of regional Customs Brokers oversees corrective action plans related to trade activities with service providers and brokerage linkages.Establishes effective business partnerships and supports Global Trade Compliance goals and objectives to align with RA compliance strategy.REQUIREMENTS:Degree in one of relevant field, i.e., Business Administration, International Business, Trade Compliance, Corporate Law, Supply Chain Management, or FinanceMinimum 7-10 years of international work experience managing regional trade programs for manufacturing including import, warehousing, distribution, duty brokerage, customs, compliance 3PL/4PL external service in the Americas, Europe, or Asia Pacific RegionsExtensive knowledge of regional trade operations; Brokerage or other trade operational experience desired; knowledge of corporate trade compliance programs and issues desired;Proven ability to interface with a variety of levels and positions, maintain confidentiality and exhibit the aptitude to coordinate and prioritize multiple activitiesExperience with leading and coaching a team of senior domain experts/specialistsExceptional attention to detailMicrosoft Office and SAP knowledgeWillingness to travel as required EEO Statement Rockwell Automation is an Equal Opportunity Employer including disability#LI-IB1#LI-hybrid
