Your career opportunity To be a ‘trusted advisor’ to the head of the respective business by constructively challenging their spend requirements and helping them control their budgets and manage external risks. Accountable for delivering procurement benefits and achieving a high ‘net promoter score’ with Procurements business partners. Lead relationship management, with the business and actively manage key business partners.  Support the Head of Procurement in the execution of category plans and savings pipeline.  Identify new outsourcing opportunities and assess their potential value to the organisation. What you’ll do Define sourcing approach and delivery of associated Sourcing activity to maximum value to the business.  Application of supply, cost, and demand levers. Negotiation planning and contract negotiations, implementing, extending, and terminating contracts. Contribute to the annual and sustainable savings targets against each Category or Country plan. Leverage full range of source to contract tools including RFx and eSourcing capabilities. Work with a variety of senior stakeholders and senior business partners requiring proactive engagement and fostering of existing and new relationships.  Maintain quality of documents issued to suppliers to avoid any delays or potential problems caused by vague description of requirements. Understand the specific needs of business and drive spend through preferred suppliers to maximize value to group and minimize risk exposure. What you need to have to succeed in this role Relevant Procurement experience with strong understanding of Procurement principles and best practices. Exposure to the use of eProcurement tools to conduct eRFx and e-Auctions and contract management. Previous experience in working as part of a cross-functional team within a multi-national organization and supporting business stakeholders across multiple geographies. Ability to work independently to deliver against objectives to the required quality standards.
