Our 5000 employees worldwide innovate to design, deliver and service high-value solutions for our customers.About the Role We are currently searching for a Distribution Center Manager who will be responsible for driving safety, quality, service level, and productivity by planning, developing, supervising, and directing all aspects of aftermarket fulfillment operations through the Aftermarket Fulfillment Center. In this position, you will be looking after distribution of spare parts for our Nutrition & Health brands on the EMEA market. You will be a leading a team of approximately 9-10 employees based in Bydgoszcz. About Your Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of all DC functions including goods receipt, put-away, material picking/kitting, packaging, and shipping. Ensure levels for staffing, safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, quality, lead time, and on-time delivery (OTD) are maintained for the DC. Resolve issues related to past due backlog and implement preventative actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain procedures and work instructions for all DC operating functions. Develop and provide continuous training opportunities for personnel to promote and provide growth opportunities within the aftermarket organization. Promote a safe working environment through leadership and a proactive safety program including managing SafetyHub training for all direct reports. Enable a culture of continuous improvement. Implement changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety/productivity of the DC. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized facility. Administer Time & Attendance system for all direct reports. Hire and onboard new employees including working with recruiters. Also, offboarding of employees as needed. Ensure 24/7 staff availability for afterhours emergencies (customer breakdown, facility issues). Physical work in the DC may be required at times to fulfill workload demands and satisfy customer commitments. Perform all tasks in accordance with SPX FLOW Business Conduct guidelines. What Do You Need At least an associate degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. Previous experience in managing a Distribution Center. Experience in aftermarket would be an asset. Good knowledge of an ERP system (SAP preferred) and MS Office. Fluent Polish and English. Team management experience and strong leadership skills. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable and well-organized. Ability to speak effectively in front of customers and employees. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in fulfillment situations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Managerial, Technical and Health & Safety certifications are encouraged.
