At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements. Responsibilities and duties:Provide business insight, financial analysis, forecasting, and business modelling used throughout the BU for decision making • Leading business unit planning, analysis, decision support, and continuous improvement processes.• Ensure and promote a strong control environment and mitigation of weaknesses identified and actioned.• Oversees the Opex budgeting and forecasting process with SLT business partners.• Managing and developing 1 direct report (OPEX Analyst).• Ad-hoc analyses and reporting to identify and offer solutions for business challenges and improvements.• Develop and drive KPIs for the team to drive Finance excellence and TEOA-F (continuous improvement) mindset.• Drive Finance Digitalization and maturity within the function, SAC and S4/Hana readiness.• Support and analysis on restructuring initiatives and other strategic needs of business/segment.• Drive financial intelligence and rigor across Finance and other non-Finance functions; • Drive accountability, forecast accuracy and GAAP/Ethics compliance.What your background should look like:• Prior experience working with a global, matrixed team• Broad Finance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment (combination of FP&A, operations, controlling, commercial)• Solid understanding of a full P&L and cashflow preferably in a manufacturing environment, product costing/variance analysis and pricing methodologies• Understanding of new projects and capital investments utilizing valuation tools such as DCF, IRR, NPV, payback, etc.• Understanding of core TE business and finance processes including S&OP, PAC, recosting, budgeting, and forecast processes• Understanding of TE’s markets, products, and manufacturing processesCompetencies:• Build Business Partnerships: Displays deep loyalty to management, the organization and subordinates.
