With an active, get-things-done culture, this is a place where your dynamism and agility will make a difference.Role overviewThis role is responsible for controlling activities and key self billing and order activities within the warehouse and freight teams. Scope is inclusive of company owned and 3PL operations within the DACH BU and is key to ensuring a closed loop on order processing but also ensuring GCS controls are administered correctly. The role holder will have to work with warehouse, cost accounting and 3PL teams to ensure delivery of orders and invoice processing to required target timelines. ResponsibilitiesControlling Activities:Financial Control - Coordinate and clarify the expenses for WHs and freight with finance team (monthly) Prepare and determine logistics accruals;GCS Control - Control(daily and weekly GCS control) and document incorrect IDOC's (SAP document format for business transaction data transfers) Report controlling result via GCS Portal (quarterly);GCS Control / admin;Purchase Orders/Self-Billing:Self Billing - Control and document self-billing costs for logistic planning and automatic crediting of freight costs. Create credit note of freight costs via SAP with self-billing program for national shipping companies;Invoice Control - Controland validate invoices for WHS 3PLControl, edit, document and book customer penalty invoices;Purchase Order - Create and place all purchase orders with vendors for logistics services and coordinate proper invoicingProvide information of freight costs for shipping companies;Other Activities - Escalation of issues at Month End close. QualificationsProficiency in English and German (spoken and written);Demonstrated stakeholder management experience with both internal and external customers working within logistics operational environment (usually min 1 yrs exp.);Prior working knowledge of book keeping / invoice control preferred;Working Knowledge of MRP required (pref. SAP);Strong Excel & Office package knowledge mandatory;Good communication and interpersonal skills;Results oriented.
