Area Sales Manager Specification Channel (f/m/x)

Your job By joining our team as an Area Sales Manager Specification Channel, you will have an important role in managing sales activities while developing and implementing strategic initiatives. You will be fostering strong relationships with new and existing customers with the aim to grow business and promote our innovative lighting solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Taking ownership of the area sales budget to deliver and exceed sales in line with agreed objectives. Achieving profit and sales targets by managing a constant sales project pipeline - from preparation and negotiation to contract closure. Establishing new as well as develop existing customer networks with a broad mix of customer types including Specifiers, Wholesalers and End User customers. Developing and implementing a sales plan which integrates with the regional sales plans. Understanding sector drivers and opportunities in order to develop strategies and tactics to achieve sustainable growth. Technical consultancy for customers, providing excellent and professional customer service to all clients. Close cooperation with internal sales and lighting design colleagues, recognizing sales as team work.Planning and execution of customer visits on regular basis. Your profile Understanding of the lighting, construction or building services sector with relevant experience in a specification based sales role. Proven track record of profitable long-term business partnerships and strong commercial mind-set. Great communication skills with excellent presentation and negotiation skills. You are a natural relationship builder who works closely with colleagues to ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything you do. Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Encountering challenges with a positive attitude and having an interest in technology. Curious with a desire for continuous improvement and development.
