Financial Controller Miejsce pracy: Łódź Your responsibilities Preparation of the annual budget, forecast, and long-term plan, and monitoring their implementation with a thorough analysis of variances Providing reliable managerial information for the company's leadership to facilitate decision-making Analyzing profitability by products, distribution channels, customers, etc Adjusting the chart of accounts to meet managerial accounting needs Establishing the structure of revenue and cost centers Providing the accounting department with data on reserves and updating allowances Preparing monthly managerial reports for the company's leadership Periodic reporting to the parent company in case of capital groups, adhering to specific accounting standards Preparation, coordination, and finalization of annual statutory reporting and external audits Participating and preparing for internal audits Research technical accounting issues for compliance Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Continuous improvement initiatives and coordination of the standardization and harmonization agenda in the R2R area (together with GPO and other GBS departments) Identifying opportunities regarding robotics and process automation Setting up and implementing enhanced financial processes Employer requirements At least 2 years experience in the finance department, preferably in an R2R/GL role, and 2 years of experience in a similar role Practical knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration Experience in Consulting or Insurance company will be a big plus Knowledge of preparation of the annual accounts statutory financial statements Willingness to work and develop in an international finance hub or SSC serving multiple countries Proficient skills in English (written and spoken) Proficiency in any other European language like German, Italian, French, Norwegian will be a big plus Proficiency in the use of Excel Quality and deadline-oriented What employer offers Private medical healthcare Multisport program/ Benefit System Group life insurance Christmas gifts Children’s’ Day Required equipment Benefits sharing the costs of sports activities private medical care life insurance christmas gifts The Financial Controller will be part of the controlling department, delivering credible information essential for strategic decision-making processes. The individual in this role is accountable for financial accounting, reporting, and controlling. The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring accounting consistency and integrity of Global Business Services policies; and developing and maintaining effective communication, interaction, and excellent relationships with the other cross-regional finance teams as well as other GBS functions and non-GBS organizations.
