Position Overview: We are looking for a proficient Test Manager to lead manual testing teams within the SAP HANA environment for our client’s ambitious projects. This role is central to our mission of enhancing operational efficiencies and optimizing business processes through diligent and strategic testing efforts. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage manual tester teams focusing on SAP HANA projects, ensuring thorough testing practices and adherence to high-quality standards. Develop and oversee detailed test plans and strategies tailored to SAP HANA implementations, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations. Facilitate effective collaboration among project stakeholders, including IT, operations, and external clients, to define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables. Provide comprehensive training and knowledge transfer to team members to maximize their proficiency in manual testing within the SAP HANA environment. Act as the primary liaison for testing phases, offering regular updates, resolving testing issues, and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct risk assessments for testing phases, identify potential pitfalls, and devise mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Ensure that all testing activities comply with organizational standards and industry best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Extensive experience managing manual testing teams, particularly within SAP HANA environments. Fluent in both German and English, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of SAP HANA architecture and its operational contexts. Proficiency in project management and adept at leading teams in dynamic, fast-paced settings. Familiarity with the energy sector’s business processes is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under tight deadlines. Location and Travel: This position is home-based within the European Union, with necessary travel to client sites in Düsseldorf, Germany.
