STANOWISKO: Group Procurement Category Manager - Marketing MIEJSCE PRACY: Poznań, wielkopolskie, PL, 60-479 Group Procurement Category Manager (GPCM) Marketing Job Summary Pepco Group, a leading retail conglomerate comprising Pepco, Poundland, Dealz, PGS & Group, is seeking a proactive and strategic Marketing Services Procurement Manager. This role will be pivotal in leading end-to-end procurement and vendor management within the Marketing Services Category Family, encompassing sub-categories such as Media, Creative Agencies, POS/Display, Market Insights, Communication, and more. As the Group Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies tailored to the Marketing Services Category Family. Your primary objectives will include driving efficiency, achieving cost savings, and advancing sustainability initiatives in line with business objectives. Reporting to the Group Head of Procurement Category, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with budgetary requirements and continuity of supply. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute procurement strategies for Marketing Services, focusing on value added cost savings and sustainability activities . Collaborate with Group Head of Procurement to optimize procurement strategy. Negotiate with suppliers to secure best possible terms & conditions . Provide budget input and monitor financial targets. Cultivate supplier relationships to mitigate risks and manage costs. Oversee Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives. Define commercial conditions in contracts and lead RFPs. Drive projects to enhance efficiency and sustainability. Periodically reassess vendors to align with business needs. Ensure compliance with governance standards. Conduct market assessments and identify cost optimization opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend suitable suppliers. Contribute to Pepco Group's Sustainability plan. Deliver against cost savings and operational targets. Ensure legal and policy compliance. Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. Proficiency in English At least 5 years of prior experience in procurement, commercial negotiation, and supplier management, ideally within a retail or related industry within the Marketing Services domain. Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) qualification desirable. Thorough understanding of retail and procurement dynamics. Familiarity with Marketing Services supplier landscape. Proficiency in procurement processes and financial analysis. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Leadership experience in procurement or related field. Track record of delivering cost savings and supplier innovations. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
