Medical Excellence & Ethics comprises Global Nom Sig, Medical Information & Communications, Field Medical Performance, Medical Strategy & Capabilities (including Scientific Training) and Medical Platforms & Reporting. Working within Medical Excellence & Ethics, the will be accountable for operation, management, planning & evolution of our core field medical solutions, including Veeva CRM for engagement planning & capture, Portfolio Tool for resource access, Field Medical Insight capture and Veeva Clinical Vault for CRA & trial support. The role requires a deep understanding of field medical strategy to ensure that solutions are effective, optimised and integrated, to both provide information needed for strategic engagement planning & execution, and to harvest the information needed to measure impact and success. The role collaborates closely with wider Medical Excellence & Ethics, cross-functional partners and with Reporting & Analytics colleagues to ensure platform priorities are aligned with broader medical strategy. Accountabilities:Establish strong strategic relationships and act as point contact across key stakeholders, to develop a deep understanding of the business needs from our field medical solutionsCoordinate platform roadmaps across role remit to ensure strategic alignment across features and functionalityCoordinate communications & change management to deploy and ensure adoption of enhanced functionality across systemsWork within regions and markets to identify specific legal / compliance requirements Define and execute reporting strategy through collaboration with reporting teams. Align business rules, definitions, metrics & calculations with global and regional requirementsPartner with stakeholders and Commercial IT to ensure downstream reporting reflects needs Drive for simplicity and integration across medical platforms to enhance the field medical experienceWork to align market and regional requirements with global strategy Be the ultimate decision maker in Change Control Board (CCB) review meetingsManage business relationship with key IT stakeholders including CRM Centre of Excellence (COE), Global Commercial IT, vendors Be a champion of technology and innovation; identify industry leading solutions to meet evolving challenges and user requirementsAdopt a collaborative, cross functional working culture to ensure enterprise alignment Essential Skills:Bachelor’s degree in medical or science discipline or relevant business experienceSignificant experience with e.g. CRM platform managementStrong project management skills.
