Your responsibilities Monitoring of technological assumptions in refinery production optimization process Perform optimization process calculations using Aspen PIMS (linear programming system) as a part of supply chain planning processes Verification of assumptions and PIMS solutions of the production plan submitted by the processing refinery in terms of the assumed production parameters e.g. Planned yields, Units utilization, Product quality parameters, Maintenance and turnaround activities Monitoring allocation process, particularly in terms of allocated products, semi – products, units utilization and products blending Perform economic studies for specific production events (additional transfers, sales, purchase) Economic evaluation for crude oil selection (crude slate recommendation) Periodic audits of the LP model of the entire refinery in terms of the adequacy of structures and technological data Our requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant advanced degree is preferred Minimum 1 year of professional experience in oil and refinery industries Experience in refinery optimizations with using Aspen PIMS or other software will be a strong advantage Comprehensive knowledge of refinery units configuration Extensive knowledge of refinery processes Understanding of linear programming principles Fluent English Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills with strong drive for results Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Knowledge of additional data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI) will be an asset, Effectiveness in identifying, diagnosing and solving process issues; Teamwork skills, Quality and results oriented Open for new challenges and business environment dynamics with changing priorities Qualities that we value are orientation for teamwork, flexibility, focus on quality, motivation to take on new challenges What we offer employment on the basis of an employment contract, tools necessary to perform the job attractive social package, including medical care, Company Social Benefits Fund, group insurance with an investment fund paid by the employer, opportunity to acquire and develop professional skills.
