This is what LifeAtBNYMellon is all about. We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Group Manager, Fund/Client Accounting – Recon to join our Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Wroclaw. hybrid. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:  Manages workload for + onboarding specialists to meet business demand. Assigns projects, forecasts resource capacity. Acts as an escalation point for project/client issues. Manages daily workload of + staff Oversight of the team’s cash, asset & Out of Bank reconciliations for the client’s collective investment portfolios ensuring team’s timely and accurate delivery to agreed timetables and SLA standards whilst ensuring compliance with appropriate reconciliation standards. Core work includes acting as escalation point for both internal and external parties for query and resolution of aged or material reconciliation discrepancies.  Be aware of the risks of team operations and deliverables and ensure required controls maintained and improved and procedures complied with Build and foster good working relationships with other internal departments and external parties as appropriate. Identifying training & development needs across the team and putting structured training plans in place. Supporting the Director with delivering of department strategy. Projects work and ad-hoc tasks acting as a reconciliation SME lead or project manager as required for new business onboarding/Technical developments To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:  Bachelors degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. + years of total work experience and at least + years in management preferred. Good understanding of the different securities available in the market – bonds, equities, derivatives – and market events ( corporate actions) are preferred Comprehensive working knowledge of Fund Valuation Reconciliation’s is preferred.
