The area of data management at PwC Poland is critical to all digital projects, which is why the Data Solutions department is made up of a group of super-specialists who fully understand our clients and business needs. We specialize in elevating clients data capabilities - both on premise and in the cloud. We are looking for: Data Engineer Your future role: Participate in Data Platform & Engineering delivery for clients from a variety of industries. Work with teammates to come up with the most efficient technological solutions to address clients’ needs. In particular: deliver advanced scalable data processing architectures, design and implement custom data processing tools (Python, PySpark etc.), ensure efficient data movement including data cleansing, transformation & continuous monitoring, enable real-time analytics and stream processing. Write unit tests for delivered scripts, notebooks etc. Share your knowledge with less experienced teammates. Adhere to the company's Delivery Excellence framework, contribute to Data Solutions Practice ways of working and internal delivery guidelines. Apply if you have: Professional experience in Data Engineer role. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Databricks\PySpark\Python. Good knowledge of SQL language​. Hands-on experience with data related tech stack from at least one of three major cloud providers. Good knowledge of at least one ETL tool (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Cloud Data Fusion, AWS Glue, Apache NiFi etc.) Experience with BI tools and reporting models (PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Looker etc.) Practical knowledge of unit testing. Team player (experience in working in an international environment is a plus). Strong analytical skills. Very good communication skills (both oral and written communication). Good command of English (C1 level). Minimum communicative knowledge of Polish.
