Process Modeling & Optimization Manager

The Process Modeling and Optimization Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies for process modeling and optimization. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and consultants to map out processes, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and expertise in process modeling methodologies and optimization strategies.   What You Will Do Work collaboratively with consultants and internal stakeholders, ensuring active participation of Lionbridge resources in process mapping and development. Advocate for the involvement of project managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) in the process mapping exercise to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the processes. Identify the need for BPMN capability building and facilitate training sessions for SMEs, analysts, and chosen business owners. Ensure access to the mapping platform and provide ongoing support to enhance process modeling capabilities. Collaborate with IT resources to provide comprehensive training on workflow possibilities and new technologies related to process optimization. Identify the need for an interdisciplinary group of professionals, including workflow developers, back-end developers, data source and integration developers, and potential RPA specialists. Establish an ongoing process modeling and optimization program management structure with you acting as a dedicated program manager. Define and agree on the delivery of As-Is process architecture and subsequent updates with new processes. Develop a well-structured process architecture with clearly defined processes and sub-processes, typically organized into three levels, and assign appropriate business owners. Identify points of contact, usually process/business owners, and SMEs who will work closely with consultants within the project/program structure. Facilitate discussions to agree on assumptions for the To-Be state, considering whether to prioritize quick implementation with limited optimization or conduct large-scale process improvement. Assess the impact on process architecture, Target Operating Model, and project complexity. Collaborate with consultants to organize training sessions for project managers and SMEs, ensuring they possess in-depth knowledge of the new workflow system and its capabilities. Establish a framework for the development of AS-IS and To-Be process maps that can be adopted and followed by the internal team. Define guidelines and standards for process modeling and optimization. Implement a system for monitoring progress, conducting regular reviews of progress and results. Identify areas for improvement and optimization and propose corrective actions. Assign responsibilities within the organization for developing and maintaining process maps, ensuring regular updates and maintenance.   To Be Successful You Will Have Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in process modeling, optimization strategies, and program management. Strong knowledge of process modeling methodologies such as BPMN, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar. Proficiency in process modeling tools and software (e.g., ARIS, Visio, or similar). Familiarity with emerging technologies and their impact on process optimization. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively witha diverse group of stakeholders. Project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
